About Us

“ My goal with Carter's Confident Care is to help our elderly population stay in their homes longer by providing the extra assistance they may need safely.”

-Blenda Jones Carter, BSN. RN

OUR STORY

Carter's Confident Care was born out of the need for a better-quality care system for our elderly population. With multiple years of experience as a Nurse within the Home Care sector, I seldom found the quality of care needed, required, and deserved.

“As an experienced registered nurse, I have worked with several home care agencies. I have performed supervisory visits for companies to ensure families were cared for, and the care was not there. As the supervisor and not the owner, the impact that I could have was always limited. Most of the time, I would report my findings and return 60 days later to find nothing had changed. After experiencing so much substandard care of our senior citizens in the field, I decided that I had to be the change I wanted to see. So, Carter's Confident Care was formed. A trusted relationship and proper care are the most important and valuable things for people of all ages – especially for elderly adults.” - Blenda Jones Carter.
